Her awful sounding voice is extremely childlike.. Not at all womanly.. Shrill… Reedy… Limited in range… Lacking in timbre. * Better in a chorus. Bad… Very bad… SUCKS! Intolerable! Taylor is very smart and very beautiful but her reedy, shrill voice has a very limited range, maybe only two octaves from D3-E5 in a field where Freddy Mercury for example had a range from F#2 to G5 and Prince had a five octave range from A1 to C7, both over five octaves. Beyonce has a four octave range. Elvis who had a wonderful, resonant voice had a three plus octave range. Back in 2008 marc Hirst wrote: “Hey..Has Anybody Noticed That Taylor Swift Can’t Sing?” and he said “she can’t carry a tune. In truth and in fact most female singers have a bigger vocal range and sound far better than Taylor who’s voice never outgrew her adolesence. She’s a squeekster and and a squawker who fortunately has great legs that contrast with her child-like little voice. While she’s very easy to look at and loads of fun to watch dance her basic tool that’s responsible for her fame, her voice is sadly, unimpressive.

The tone of a singer’s voice can be described in many ways, such as bright, dark, full, powerful, airy, breathy, harsh, gentle, soft, or velvety. Swift’s voive is simply childish.

So, …. Bottom Line.. We like, .. love Taylor Swift but can’t really listen to her music because it’s really not mature.

* Vocal timbre is the unique quality of a voice that gives it its tone color and personality. It’s also known as tone color or tone quality. Swift’s voice is missing timbre.
