This is not true. It is certainly true for some people but in general it is not necessary to hate to love nor is it necessary to love in order to hate. Love and hate are different emotions. Neither is necessary for the other to exist. No one has to hate in order to love. Love doesn’t require hate to exist. Samuel P. Huntington is wrong.
