May 17, 2011 was a surprise and  a wake-up call for the Northampton Township Republican Establishment. The incumbent received fewer votes than the two challengers. Bill O’Neill, (me) came within a few votes of knocking out a sitting Supervisor. It was not a surprise to me because I had warned the establishment they had endorsed a candidate that would prove to be a disaster for them.

The very limited budget campaign was so successful that maybe I’ll run against Mike Fitzpatrick for Congress. 🙂
