Yaron has trevelled extensively to Ukraine and Russia. What happened to cause Putin and Russia to seize The Crimea and parts of Eastern Ukraine? America and Europe were distracted by issues in their own countries so Putin tried something and was successful.
What will happen in the future?
There are too many variables so Brooke doesn’t know. He knows both Russia and Ukraine are corrupt nations. Putin is seemingly unopposed with his military seizure of parts of Ukraine so he may get away with it. The only hope for Ukraine seems to be Donald Trump because only Trump can organize America’s response. What should it be? A moral response would remove Putin from Ukraine but the probability of a moral response is small.
