So say a group of MIT scientists, among a great many other experts and researchers who have known about the benefits of CO2 to human and animal life on earth since 6/11/1754… That’s 269 years ago when Joseph Black discovered carbon dioxide..CO2 .

So… CO2 from your cars exhaust is used by trees to produce O2. Calling CO2 a “greenhouse gas” as a way to discredit it’s importance, indeed it’s vitality to all human, .. to all animal life, to all insect life is a brazen lie.

To repeat: Carbon Dioxide from your cars exhaust is used by trees to produce Oxygen which you need to continue to live!!! Oxygen is only about 20 percent of the air you breathe. It is separated from the sir by your lungs that absorb the oxygen but not the carbon dioxide. Trees absorb carbon dioxide in a process called “Photosynthesis”… People absorb oxygen in their lungs in a process called “Oxygenation” by inhaling air called “inspiration” and exhaling carbon dioxide in a process called “exhalation”. Trees and all green plants are necessary to produce the oxygen we breathe by changing carbon dioxide into oxygen. Without carbon dioxide the trees and all green things would die. Without oxygen all the people would die. To repeat: Without carbon dioxide the trees and all green things would die. Without oxygen all the people would die.WITHOUT CARBON DIOXIDE …….  ALL THE PEOPLE WOULD DIE.

Through a process called photosynthesis, leaves pull in carbon dioxide and water and use the energy of the sun to convert this into chemical compounds such as sugars that feed the tree.  But as a by-product of that chemical reaction oxygen is produced and released by the tree.  It is proposed that one large tree can provide a day’s supply of oxygen for up to four people.

Trees also store carbon dioxide in their fibers helping to clean the air and reduce the negative effects that this CO2 could have had on our environment. According to the Arbor Day Foundation, in one year a mature tree will absorb more than 48 pounds of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen in exchange.

So next time you take a deep breath of air give credit to a tree or hug a tree in thanks for what it gives us – the very air we breathe.
