Turn on the oven, stay in the kitchen and leave the door open. Turn on the stove especially if it has a hood with a fan. That will throw warmth into the kitchen which is frequently the easiest room to heat. Get out the blankets. Cold can be deadly. If you can afford it get a down filled comforter. The down will keep you toasty when the temperature bottoms out. the forecast for Christmas Eve may hit thirteen degrees Fahrenheit so make sure you are prepared to take steps to keep warm.
