But the Civil War was fought against physical slavery. Now that black people are not slaves the present unrest shows the differences between black people and white people still exist. Why are their differences? Because that’s the nature of people. Even though no two people are alike there are broad categories into which people are grouped. To see the results of this grouping study the marriage records of any culture. People who are similar tend to marry other people who are similar. Perhaps the problems of racism would be lessened if the differences were respected instead of being denied. Exacerbating the problems is the reality of reporting which is always tempered by the race of the reporter. That’s not open to judgment. Race is real. If it wasn’t real there wouldn’t be race problems. Race is nature. Race must be respected. Race must not be blinded by wrong ideas like there’s no differences among people. Yes, there are differences beginning with fingerprints. The differences can be studied. The differences can be ignored. They can be accepted. The problems come from judgments about race. Can judgment be stopped? Yes. Judgment can be suspended too but the suspension or cessation doesn’t make differences disappear. No longer content to conceal the guilt of the guilty, the Left has been lying and is now working to conceal the innocence of the innocent.
Reason is the property of the intellect with which the analysis of race is concerned. Reason can be suspended. It can be informed. It can be denied but it doesn’t go away. Race relations is one of the most fascinating topics on earth simply because it is such a vast topic. Physical, mental, intellectual, race covers so many areas that lifetimes aren’t sufficient to cover them all. We have begun… That’s about the extent of it.
