Pat has never been altogether there but lately he acting really strange. He believes, for example that cheating in an election is normal. So how does he live with himself if he himself had cheating going on when he was elected but he didn’t really win but took over the seat because he was indifferent to the cheating?
Maybe his bumping into the top of a low doorway scrambled some of his brains, Look at his head that shows where the bump happened.. 
Looks like he mis-judged the height of the doorway. BONK!
