Race is a fact of life. Start with this: Different races exist. They are unable to mix and mingle. Sure, somewhere along the edges people marry people from a different race but most black people prefer to marry other black people and the same goes for white people. There’s just no way to change that and even more fundamentally, very few people want to change it. The way forward is to first recognize that the races are different. Then decide how to deal with the different situations where the races come together… Shopping for example. Everyone needs to be treated as though they are the same and in America, for the most part that’s the way it is. When black people shop in white areas, let them alone. Wait on them. How simple and easy is that? Take the money and surrender the goods. End of story. Restaurants.. same deal. Wait on them and let them alone. You can talk to them or not as you decide but there are rules of decorum that should be followed to identify what to do and how it should be done. Again, .. end of story. Race is here. Race is real and not going away. You need to grasp that and get on with it. It’s the way it is. Neither you nor I can change it. We can accept it or not but race is here to stay.
