At Phillips auction house in New York on Thursday night October 27, 2017, the legendary Paul Newman 1968 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona was auctioned off; auctioneer Aurel Bacs called it “possibly the most iconic wristwatch of the 20th century.” Newman passed away in 2008 at age 83.
