Biden want’s to make America safe by buying all of the guns in private hands. That won’t stop the major cause of death in America which is heart disease which killed 647,457 people in 2017 compared to 37,000 who are killed in motor vehicle crashes each year. Cancer claims 599,000, unintentional injuries kills 170,000, 160,000 die from lower respiratory disease, 146,000 from stroke, 121,000 from Alzheimer’s, 84,000 from diabetes, 56,000 from the flu or pneumonia, 51,000 from kidney disease, 47,000 from suicide. Put it another way, 78 times more people die each year from causes not related to a gun.
Instead of going after the guns, Biden should go after cancer, heart disease, strokes, and the other major causes of death in America. Death by guns is minuscule compared to death from all of the other things.
