A group of 148 African Americans who served in former President Barack Obama’s administration backed the “Squad”—Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MN), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN)—on Friday evening against President Donald Trump’s “racist” attacks, vowing to be more vocal as Trump tries to make the “Squad” the face of Democrats. They continue to use race based policies and comments to allegedly show how wrong racism is. When an all-black movement joins the condemnation of non-blacks or of a white skinned president race based behavior cuts both ways. One should not use race based behaviors to condemn racism. Using race is off limits to black people too, or at least it should be. Otherwise race based behavior is seen as being supported. It just depends on the skin color of the supporters.
