Here’s what we know. There were all kinds of  investigative activities going on. McClatchy reported the Obama controlled agencies that were involved:

Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Unit network.
The big money bet is: Obama knew something. Obama did not deny Trumps phoned were tapped / bugged. Here’s Obama’s Official Position: 


A spokesman for Obama, Kevin Lewis, basically a bus driver for the Obama team called “any suggestion” that Obama or any White House official ordered surveillance against Trump “simply false.”
“A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice,” Lewis said in a statement early Saturday afternoon. “As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any US citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.”

In plain English that says Obama didn’t order the bugging but just because he didn’t order it doesn’t mean it wasn’t done. Just as the CEO doesn’t order the offices cleaned doesn’t mean the offices aren’t cleaned so just because Obama didn’t order the wiretaps doesn’t mean there were no wiretaps. Same for “ordering” surveillance. Obama did not deny Trump was surveilled. He just said he didn’t do it and no White House Official did it. He didn’t deny that James Comey did it. He didn’t deny James Clapper didn’t order it. He just said he didn’t order it. That’s purposeful obfuscation. That’s how lawyers work and Obama is a lawyer.

Obama has a long, checkered political past, having passed the “Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Amendments Act of 2008″. That legislation retroactively legalized the Bush administration’s illegal and unconstitutional surveillance, first revealed by The New York Times in 2005, and indemnified the telecommunications companies for their cooperation in these acts.” From Ilana Mercer:

The greatest libertarian alive, a martyr for truth like no other, is Julian Assange of WikiLeaks. Whether fighting visible government or the Deep State; Bush or Obama, Mr. Assange is a hero.

Right now, Assange is in the process of blowing the lid off the CIA. Assange’s latest data dump has exposed the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency for the habitual hacker it is. Revealed, too, is the CIA’s modus operandi: For their own cyber-infractions, the agency is, allegedly, in the habit of forensically framing other actors (like Russia?).

“I think the president is absolutely right. His phone calls, everything he did electronically, were being monitored,” ventured Bill Binney, a 36-year veteran of the National Security Agency. Binney, who resigned in protest from the NSA in 2001, told Fox Business that “everyone’s conversations are being monitored and stored.”
Bottom Line? Trumps phones and his offices were bugged by the Obama Deep State. He knows it and he’s punching back.
Unfortunately, the “Deep State”, those entrenched anonymous bureaucrats is embedded in the Intelligence Community and the rot and decay has shown itsel. . . . harming individuals, our president and our national security.
