WHAT????…. WHOA…. WHOA UP!!!! What the good hell is going on over at the Unz review where Ron Unz himself has seemingly gone Anti-Trump?? ICE did not murder Renee Good who blocked traffic by driving diagonally across two lanes of traffic, stopping there and then bumping into an ICE agent before she was shot and killed. Alex Pretti was not “brutally murdered” as Joshua Scheer claimed in a January 24 screed intent on innocentizing a mental moron who had jammed his war pistol along with 42 rounds of 9mm Lugar ammunition into a hidden holster then brazenly, stupidly was filming them with his cellphone camera when he walked up to highly armed and agitated ICE agents. Exactly why he was killed is a bit of an issue because there are a number of reasons the agitated ICE agents had to fear he had more weapons hidden on him as he continually acted against them by first helping someone who had been aggressively shoved out of their way and then resisting them as they wrestled him to the ground, found one weapon and then shot him multiple times. There are loads of people sticking up for Pretti by referring to him as: “a 37 year old ICE nurse”. As if to seal the deal that ICE and Trump are bad Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren condemned ICE instead of listing the reasons Federal Agents had to go to Minneapolis in the first place along with Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen who actually said: “THE REAL DOMESTIC TERRORISTS ARE IN THE WHITE HOUSE”!!!
Senator Chris Van Hollen also said — “the real domestic terrorists: Trump and his cohort. ” Perhaps but isn’t it highly unlikely that president Trump is a terrorist let alone a domestic one?… A more reasoned response is: It was highly likely that Alex Pretti who opposed ICE a week ago and had his rib broken on that occasion and who was actually walking towards ICE agents with a loaded gun on him and who opposed what they just did to another person by defying the highly agitated agents and helping that person. Then there’s this: “Pretti “had a physical encounter with federal agents about a week before he was shot and killed by law enforcement,” CNN reported Tuesday.
It helps to try to put yourself in the position of the ICE agents even that’s impossible. A better response is to stay the hell away from Minneapolis at the moment at least.

The firearm matters—and the media is hiding it. At the Minneapolis Border Patrol shooting, the suspect was armed with a SIG Sauer P320 AXG Combat, a high-capacity 9mm pistol with a threaded barrel, extended 20–21 round magazine, and a SIG Romeo optic—a setup costing $1,500–$2,000. This was not a cheap carry gun.
Officers were in a physical struggle with an armed suspect when a gun was perceived and the word “gun” was shouted. Under settled self-defense law, officers are entitled to rely on fellow officers’ reasonable perceptions. They do not have to personally confirm the threat.
Once a firearm appears during active resistance, the legal standard is simple: reasonable perception of imminent deadly force. That standard was met here. Freeze-frame activism doesn’t override real-time dynamics, and the law does not require officers to wait to be shot. This was a tragic—but lawful—use of force.
