He’s in poor health. He wants to legalize marijuana. He supports Israel. In fact John is Pro-Israel but his home district as well as this home state of Pennsylvania has a very small Jewish contingent. John is not Jewish but he is a loudmouth supporter of Israel. 
John is a popular and regular guy even though he’s 6’8″ tall and stands above and stands out in a crowd. Barron Trump is also 6’8″ tall so he can look John in the eye.
He had a stroke in broad daylight but he recovered. It was four days before the Democratic primary in May 2022, while at a gas station between campaign stops, the then-lieutenant governor fell victim to a stroke triggered by a heart condition. He spent the weekend in hospital, having surgery to remove the blood clot that had prompted the stroke, then having a pacemaker and a defibrillator fitted. John is a Democrat but his parents were Republicans. So was John but he switched parties. He’s gonna run again and he’s gonna win again.
