A rather thick-headed freshman Republican Congressman wants the presidential candidates to show us their tax returns. What does that have to do with anything the president does?
See, the problem with politicians is there are too many dumb ones who just can’t get this Trump stuff and it’s not hard at all.
They’re like the kids at the high school football game who have no idea what a real football is. They never held one so they haven’t the foggiest idea about how to throw or catch one.
Hate to put it this way but that means all the girls can’t really get football either, just like the guys in the stands and in the bands who can’t get what it is to really play the game. Sorry girls. You’re not supposed to get this football stuff but I wanted to make a point.
Nixon wrote about playing the game. He called it the Arena. Kind of like a bullfight idea where no one in the stands would stand in front of a bull, wave a cape and yell at him to get him mad. They can’t get Trump either. Not at all.
Here’s the basis of Trump. He has empathy and he uses it to get what he wants. He knows what makes people tick. Even liberals voted for him because Trump has walked the walk.
No, he’s never been president of the United States before but he did something far harder and did it so well he became very, very rich. His kids are rich too.
Hillary lost because she has zero empathy. Hillary is a dictator. Obama was just a cursed phenomenon that like last week’s wind is all over except for SNL and late night hate Trump TV. Hey Barack… Kimmels calling.
So this freshman dolt who has little idea why he won the election and even less of an appreciation of the phenomenon that is Donald Trump.
Obama won because of his race. Trump won because he knows how most voters think. He’s actually better than Reagan who was the great communicator who told people what they wanted to hear. Trump knows what they want. If he runs again he’ll win again and if Ivanka runs she’ll win because in addition to being a rich Trump, she’s good looking and knows how to dress. Plus she’s taller than most of the men in government so she looks regal in their presence.
Who’s interested in seeing someone’s tax returns? Normal people hate the IRS. they don’t want anyone to see their own tax returns. they hope the IRS ignores them. They don’t want to look at tax returns, they’d rather feed them into a bonfire.
Anyhow, the freshman wants to see Trump’s returns but he knows that’s unpopular so he wrote a bill to force every presidential candidate to show us their tax returns. Why don’t he introduce a bill to show us how to make an extra hundred bucks? We’d like to know that. It’s not such a hard thing to figure out for someone in government. Do something like have the IRS send each taxpayer a hundred dollar bill after they send in their tax return. If this freshman congressman would do that he’s be re-elected for the rest of his life.
But because he is what he is, he couldn’t do that. Oh well. .
