There’s more to Tuckers firing but we haven’t heard it yet. We don’t know the story behind yet another firing of a legend at FOX. Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly and now Tucker Carlson.
Just like we cannot see under a rock, we do not know why it was done and in such a brutal, swift manner. Perhaps sexual harassment, perhaps a Primadonna attitude or his contribution to a hostile work environment although that seems unlikely. Powerful people can be brutal to others but in this case, we have neither side really explaining what happened to cause what happened. Politically Tucker is sort of a Libertarian but at least a while ago he might have been an anti-Trumper. In November 2021, Murdoch accused Google and Facebook of stifling conservative viewpoints on its platforms, and called for “substantial reform” and openness in the digital ad supply chain so the top Murdock is politically on the right, same as Tucker.
FOX must be quite surprised at the cost of the hostile reaction against FOX which is due to what they misunderestimated: the raw popularity of Tucker.
