Lindbergh lived only 72 years. He filled his unique life with millions of wonderful and wonderous achievements; people and moments. At age 25 he flew alone from America to Europe becoming the very first person to do it. He fathered 13 children including his first born son Charles Jr. who was kidnapped and murdered. Seven children were revealed by DNA testing outside his marriage and six by his wife Anne Marrow Lindbergh who lived 94 years. On May 20, 1927 Charles left Roosevelt Field in a specially modified fabric covered aircraft with a wooden wing and flew alone for 33 1/2 hours to land the next night, May 21, 1927 at Le Bourget Airfield in Paris, a distance of 3,610 miles.
