During my working career we played touch football during lunch. I broke a big toe while playing on the grass. It was a week or two later that I decided to see a doctor about it. The x-ray showed the break. I thought it would have to be cast but the doctor said they didn’t cast toes. I asked what would happen and he said it would be swollen for about a year then slowly get back to a smaller size.
