It has a very pretentious title but it’s supposed to answer why students drop out of Community College…. And it’s not really a Phd thesis. It’s for an EdD. An EdD is a sort of MS for the intellectually challenged. Biden’s doctorate is merely an Ed.D—a doctorate in education, not a Ph.D.—obtained via a dissertation with what he calls an “unpromising” title…
Jill’s answer is:… there is no answer, at least not a clear answer in her so-called thesis. Her conclusions just sort of rattle and rumble around.
Here’s her title: STUDENT RETENTION AT THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE: MEETING STUDENTS NEEDS…
There is a very glaring error, a big mistake really, in line three of the first paragraph of her Introduction. She wrote “undeserved” instead of underserved.. Left out a letter. Left “r” out of underserved and changed the paragraph to nonsense to any reader who reads. That’s a poor way to concoct a thesis.
See? She doesn’t answer a question. She fails to even ask a question. There is a question implied and there is an answer…. Jill just didn’t find it or if she found it she didn’t know she found it so she didn’t put he answer in her so-called thesis. The answer is simple, really, students drop out for a lot of reasons but the essential reason is they decide they just don’t want to do this anymore. The question that would help students is: “why should you graduate from Community College?” The answer is as simple and straightforward as this: “You Will Have A Better Life.” How simple is that?
Look: It’s pretty basic. The more education you have the better you will live. No mater what your personal circumstances, you will have a better, bigger, larger life with each and every course you take at the college level. Community College can be an end in itself or a stepping stone to a full college degree. Either way, staying in college and getting a degree from a Community College is a very important step for you to take. take it and live better. Living better means being aware of more things. Life is big. Life is a big deal. Living a larger life is a better way to live than living a smaller life.
Some students shouldn’t be in community college. They can’t do the work and that holds back students who can do the work who are cheated out of the education while a teacher addresses the needs of the poor student at the expense of the normal students. It’s form of cheating the students whose precious, expensive time is wasted by an inadequate teacher. The poor students shouldn’t be in Community College. That’s the fault of the college, not the student. A poor student should come to understand they don’t belong there. the Community College wastes resources on students who should not be in community college. That’s not a fault of a student. It’s a black mark against the college.
While more education doesn’t always lead to more money it definitely leads to more awareness. Regardless of the topic, the more you know about it the larger the topic will be. Art, science, skill, ability.. All are enlarged with more information. More information comes from more education. Jill Biden’s thesis will not help anyone live a better life because she failed to explain the disadvantage of dropping out of Community College. Her thesis would have been far more useful if it explained how to get more education. It didn’t do that. Another problem is she believes “Socialization” is needed to keep students in college. That’s just crap. Her thesis is not really bad but it could have been a lot better. It’s basically high class, .. Left Wing indoctrination.
