Charles Darwin’s Origin of Species helped clarify the idea of evolution, John Stuart Mill wrote On Liberty, Friedrich Nietzsche wrote The Will To Power which influenced Hitler, Lenin, Sanger, Freud, Mead, Hitler and Professor Alfred Kinsey – who wrote Sex in the Human Female which have been particularly consequential an influential, and then a further five – by Machiavelli, Hobbes, Descartes, Rousseau and Freidan – which also have changed the world. These book are particularly maddening to those moralists who uncritically accept a mystical worldview.
