Murderer of 18 men. Psychotic. Psychopath. A severely deranged individual who methodically murdered eighteen male victims. He was not sentenced to death because the state of Wisconsin had repealed the death penalty in 1853. His sentence of 941 years, supposedly 16 life sentences in prison seems almost silly but that’s what his penalty was.
Thankfully none of his victims were women. The specific nature of his psychopathy remains unknown. His motives are likewise unknown. He started to murder people at age 18 through age 31. He was murdered in prison at age 34 by Christopher Scarver who beat Dahmer with a 20 inch iron rod. He was cremated but his ashes were preserved. Go figure how that makes any sense. The earth should be rid of every vestige of his horrible life including every spec of every single ash. His death probably gave some measure of peace to the families of Dahmer’s victims who no longer have to consider Dahmer’s whereabouts.
