Do you need a great camera to make great photographs? Usually, yes. Cheap cameras have inexpensive lenses. I use Hasselblad’s. Once during a wedding a camera fell off a tripod and jammed. All I had in reserve was a really great out Zeiss Ikonta so I adapted the strobe and finished the wedding with it. The customers noticed it. They saw the images from the Zeiss Ikon were different. I used a great photography lab. Sent the exposed film to them.. All the way down in Texas so the results were spectacular from both cameras but the Hasselblad images were far better, especially in by vision. You may love the images you make with a cheap camera. Here’s a flash. They would be better with a Hassey. You can still love the images from a cheap camera and be delighted with them but you’d love them even more if they were made with a Hassey. No doubt about it.  Here’s another flash. Once you shoot with a Hassey you forget about the camera. No more thinking: “Would a better camera give me a better image?” Those thoughts go with the cheaper camera. With a Hassey the camera is no longer a problem. No more thinking about what a Hassey would do. You’re doing it!… Get the best camera you can afford. You only have one life. Might as well live it as best you can.
