Almost eight months after an alleged rape of an underaged girl by five Varsity University football players on Oct.16, 2021, San Diego State University officials have not launched an internal investigation or student disciplinary proceeding, both of which are intended in part to help protect students and employees from those found to have engaged in sexual misconduct. Nor have they alerted the campus that police are investigating a reported sexual assault involving students and provided information for potential witnesses to contact authorities. Scandalous, disgusting and disgraceful conduct by some ill-advised SDSU officials. SDSU students are poorly served by the incompetent actions of their supposed protectors. Rape is far too serious a crime to allow it to fester for almost eight months. The perps and their victim are known. Get them and make certain justice is done.
