Biden needs help to figure out how to handle Putin. Putin is selling energy to Europe and Biden stopped American energy production and buys energy from Putin.. That’s like keying your car so you can paint it. It’s like putting sand in your gasoline. It hurts you. Biden didn’t tell us about all the actions he has taken to squash American oil production that could have relieved the pressures from any disruption in Russian oil supplies to the United States. Due to Biden’s anti-oil actions, the United States is no longer energy independent like we were during the Trump years and Russia is now vying with Mexico as the number 2 supplier of oil imports to the United States. In the first 10 months of 2021, oil imports from Russia increased by 29 percent from the previous year, averaging 706 thousand barrels per day. Russia produces 10 million barrels of oil a day, roughly 10 percent of global demand.
Incredibly, Biden wrongly shut down the Keystone XL Pipeline and placed a ban on new oil and gas drilling leases for production on public lands despite Congress requiring that periodic auctions take place. He has also stopped legally issued leases in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and projects in the National Petroleum Reserve Alaska, which are needed to keep the Trans Alaskan Pipeline System viable since it is now at 25 percent of capacity.
Biden’s policies are hurting America and even worse Biden is helping Putin. What’s wrong with Biden? Take your pick. Stupidity? Senility? Stubbornness?…. We don’t know. Biden needs to change his plans; start making more American energy and stop buying Russian energy… This isn’t hard stuff but it’s hard for Biden so we have to tell him what to do. So tell him. Start using more American energy. Stop using Russian energy. Stop buying oil from Putin. Tell Europe, especially and France to buy American energy. This isn’t hard stuff.
