The Supreme Court justified abortion on the basis of privacy. Should it have been decided on the Right of a woman to her own body? A great case can be made that during the final days of a pregnancy the fetus has certain Rights but it’s certain that in the earlier stages the woman has complete and total control of her body and the growing fetus within it. The government and society has certain obligations towards the growing fetus but the woman has control over that fetus, at least until the very final stages.
