Alex Baldwin held the gun that shot and killed Halyna Hutchins. Technically that’s manslaughter. Whether or not he should be charged is up to the local authorities. He certainly didn’t want to shoot anyone and certainly didn’t want to kill anyone but it happened and he was holding the gun when it discharged. He says he didn’t pull the trigger. OK. That’s a sort of defense until the gun is examined. The problem for Baldwin is he was holding the gun when it went off.
