It’s rather easy to make Moonshine. Boil wine in a pot with a hole in the top to which a hollow coil is connected. As the steam from boiling cools down in the coil it becomes liquid which contains a lot of alcohol. That’s Moonshine. It’s also whisky. It may be very unsafe especially if the coil contains soldered connections because solder, even the modern equivalent contains lead and lead can be fatal to humans.
As for making moonshine, don’t. Don’t because it can be fatal. Don’t because there is fantastic whisky available for sale all over America. The United States Government changes tax on whiskey but it’s less than three bucks a quart. Why risk your life for three bucks? No matter how small and insignificant a human you are you are worth much more that a few bucks tax. If you are not small or insignificant they you can easily afford to spend the money to get great whisky.
Great whisky doesn’t need good wine. It can be made from grass seeds which are often just rye seeds which can make rye whisky. But rye whisky is cheap to buy. Great rye whisky is on the shelves at the local whisky store so it’s better to buy cheap but safe rye whisky rather than make moonshine rye which ccan be fatal.
