McEnany called Lightfoot “the derelict mayor of Chicago” and accused her of not doing enough to resolve the city’s crime wave. Lightfoot could not figure out how to defend her own behavior that was negatively commented on by McAnany so Lightfoot resorted to using a typical Liberal response when they have no defense. They resort to name-calling. She called McAnany “Karen” and warned her to watch her mouth. What McAnany said was true. Lightfoot couldn’t defend herself so she insulted McAnany. It was all she could do because she couldn’t defend what McAnany commented on. Chicago has a high crime rate and Lightfoot has been powerless to get it under control. And she better be careful herself unless and until she gets crime in Chicago under control. Lightfoot gets away with a lot because she is short, black and lesbian. Justice however has a way to get it’s way and calling McAnany “Karen” as a way to disrespect her leaves Lightfoot in the position of having someons call her something like “Klyde” because of her white wife.
