The COMANCHE broke the Trans-Atlantic sailboat record in 2017 at a speed of 24.6 miles and hour, 26 times slower than an Airbus A380. The record was first set 109 years ago, in 1905 at an average speed of 11 miles and hour, which was 57 times slower than the A380. The North American x-15 at 4,330 mph would cross in 47 minutes. 372 times faster than the COMANCHE.
