The Philadelphia Eagles have the league’s worst turnover ratio at –7.
Pick: 49er’s by 12… 49er’s 31, Eagles 19
This won’t be pretty…
Actually, with the protests by the players, the coaches, the owners and the teams, watching the NFL is far less satisfying than before knowing that watching sort of supports the protestors when the truth and the fact is that most fans despise: the protests, the ideas behind the protests and the players, coaches, owners and teams that protest.
Protesting RACISM when black NFL players are 70% of the players means the minority race in the NFL is white. The high percentage of black players is a vivid example that if there is racism in the NFL it’s racism against white players.
In recent decades the cornerback position has been played exclusively by black players, and the halfback/tailback position overwhelmingly so.
There are currently no white cornerbacks in the NFL and there have not been since New York Giants cornerback Jason Sehorn played his final season for the team in 2002 eighteen years ago.
Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season, 10 quarterbacks with known black ancestry (Cam Newton, Teddy Bridgewater, Dwayne Haskins, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, Tyrod Taylor, Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson) started games for their teams, the most ever on opening week.
It’s well known that talent, not race determines who gets to play in the NFL. In addition most fans, people who are mostly not black, resent being called racists when they don’t even come in contact with black people against whom they can practice racism. It’s a bad rap foisted on the fans by black players who need to protest more than they need to concentrate on football. The lack of concentration on football while they go all gaga against racism is a root cause for the decline of the Eagles.
