A piece of mail took six days to travel 625 miles. That’s 144 hours to go 625 miles which is 4.34 Miles Per Hour…. A horse walks about that speed. Is the post office using horses during the shut-down? A cheetah can hit about 64 miles an hour. A cheetah would have delivered the letter in 9.7 hours. The Acela Express train hits 165 MPH and would have delivered the letter in 3.78 hours. A Mooney single engine aircraft cruises at 252 MPH and would have delivered the letter in 2.4 hours or 148 minutes. A Piper Comanche 400  built in 1961, 59 years ago, flew at 223 miles an hour and would have made the trip in 2.8 hours. The U.S. Postal Service took 37 times as long.

It would be reasonable to expect the mail to travel the 625 miles in about two or three days. It took double that time thanks to the Wuhan Flu…. Thanks China…
