More than likely he will be protected because the Trump adminstration will be unwilling to prosecute Barack Obama for his crimes. More than likely Obama simply will be discouraged from opening his mouth against the Trump adminstration in general and general Flynn in particular. Perhaps Obama cannot grasp those facts. History will tell how this all ends up but for now Barack Obama is playing a losing game against a winner of a president.
