Charm takes one far in life and for Obama farther than it should have. He is more lacking in leadership than a President should be. He damaged the good relationships he had because of his smile, his sense of humor and his affability in public which did not extend toward his opponents. He distanced himself from the Supreme Court where he appointed two very abrasive lawyers who should have known better that a sharp acerbic wit needs to be used in the right places for the right things instead of a blunt instrument coming from the mouth’s of Sotomayor and Kagan. The bad news President will be part of history but not in a good way when his reign ends.
