Meryl Streep, Barbra Streisand, Rob Reiner have had their success by imitating other people. Acting has that as a goal. But America ia a land of achievement who goes to the movies for entertainment, not for reality. Hollywood gets caught in their fantasy world so they cannot make sense of the real world.
