The Lions looked great in the first half and Carson Wentz tried to win this one as hard as he could but too many of the recievers dropped catchable balls. There’s no excuse for dropping as many passes as the Eagles receivers did in this one game. There were probably about six. They would have put the Eagles ahead at the end but they were dropped.

The worst missed call in the NFL was the facemask grab that tore the helmet off Miles Sanders and almost broke his neck but somehow, someway, it was not called by the referees.

Sanders was returning a kick when Miles Killebrew tackled him from the side and nearly unscrewed Sanders’ head from his neck. His helmet was ripped off and even his headband went flying.

That was a brutal play, and a clear facemask penalty. And yet zero yellow flags appeared. The referee was practically looking right at Sanders and Killebrew as it happened, and somehow Killebrew wasn’t flagged and the game continued like grabbing a guy’s facemask is totally allowed.
