Liberals, .. those people who are afraid of guns think zero guns per person is the correct answer. The U.S. Constitution supports a different, a much higher number. The question is: “How Many Guns Per Person?”
If you want to keep your family safe you must be armed. American’s currently own and possess about 390 million guns in a population of about 327 million people. About 30% of Americans report they have at least one gun. That’s 30% of 327 million or about 98 million people. That’s an average of almost four guns for every person who has at least one gun but most people who own at least one gun have many more than that. If half of the gun owners have only one gun the rest, the other half have about seven guns each. Fifty million people is about 15% of the population.
That means one out of every three people you meet has at least one gun and one out of every six people you meet has about seven guns. No other nation has that many armed civilians.
