Kate Smith will no longer be heard singing God Bless America because the American Liberal Movement has successfully banned the song. Her bronze statue was covered with a black robe or something.
Not even her eyes were visible and the entire thing was put somewhere the sun doesn’t shine, meaning if course inside where the sun doesn’t shine. The Atheists Alliance Internationl hasn’t weighed in yet but their approval is expected since they not only don’t support the song, they don’t support the idea of blessings from above either. In addition to the Athiest’s Alliance, the Freedom From Religion Foundation is another noted supporter of banning God Songs from public places. Also supporting shutting up Kate are the following organizations of non God supporters:
-
Allianz vun Humanisten, Atheisten an Agnostiker
-
American Association for the Advancement of Atheism
-
American Atheists
-
American Humanist Association
-
Association of Atheists and Freethinkers
-
Association of Black Humanists
-
Ateizm Derneği
-
The Atheist Agenda
-
Atheist Alliance International
-
Atheist Centre
-
Atheist Foundation of Australia
-
Atheist Ireland
-
Atheists of Florida
-
Ayn Rand Institute
The rest of the extensive list of Atheist organizations that don’t support God songs is not reprinted here because it’s too long. Same for the even longer list of Agnostics whose numbers are almost unbelievable. A book entitled: Atheism: The Case Against God (The Skeptic’s Bookshelf) makes a prety good case why God Bless America shouldn’t be sung anywhere in America. It’s already not sung in all other countries who have song’s of their own to promote. “Why There Is No God” is another handbook so to speak for those opposing Kate’s singing. There’s also Richard Dawkins book: “The God Delusion” as well as the many books and speeches given by Christopher Hitchens like “God Is Not Great” all of which give more support for banning Kate and her song.
