AA involved every American, all 320 million of us. It was government enforced programs that imposed an assortment of racial criteria on businesses, public offices and universities.
Under AA Most of us were forced to pay for some few who wrongly benefited because of the color of their skin, because of their race. In the college admissions scandal only a few paid, fewer benefited and it was driven by money not race like Affirmative Action. President Obama, Michelle Obama and their daughters benefited because of the color of their skin. Barack Obama perhaps benefited more than anyone else in history from Affirmative Action as it got him into Harvard Law. That improperly penalized a more qualified applicant from a Harvard degree. His advisor Valarie Jarrett benefited because of her race. She was hired by president Obama. that’s a major benefit.
