Prompted by Courier Times Editor Shane Fitzgerald’s Editorial “A Week of Sunshine Never Hurt Anyone” about the experiences of Courier reporters trying to pry information from local government he strikes at the heart of Donald Trumps campaign that exposed FAKE NEWS itself. All praise and honor to the American Free Press but it is only free of government interference in reporting the news. It is not free of human mendacity. When journalists become advocates as most journalists are these days the press in manipulated. A manipulated press is not serving the great tradition of a simple report about events that is the basis of our commitment to the press. The press greatly abused the trust of the people and is no longer due the respect it once enjoyed. The New Your Times is a case in point as it has distorted, mis-reported and avoided reporting about the 45th president of the United States and his wife, family, friends while it was over-reporting, maliciously analyzing and condemning Donald Trump as a candidate and as president. There is a connection between: “the American Left,” “the American Press”, “Russia”, ” “Communism” “and “Vladimir Putin”. All hate Trump.
