…..Or are we doomed to have only politically correct opinions? Well, ….. what about hatred? Is hatred ever good? Sure. Think NAZI’s, Communists, Murderers, Thieves, Poison. Those who commit crimes often target victims because of their perceived membership in a certain ‘other’ group, often defined by weapons, courage, size, skin color, age, or political affiliation. Religion itself weaponizes adherents against different believers while simultaneously praising it’s own believers.
Ilhan Omar obviously supports the Palestinians so it’s equally obvious she cannot support Israel. It would be nice if the position could be defended or condemned against the rest of the world but it cannot be done. There are millions who hold differing views and those views drive their actions.
So…. It seems we are stuck with hate. We are also stuck with it’s opposite. The question is what are we to do about it? Omar knows that for her she will support the Palestinians. She should however reconsider then release her hatred of Israel which has as much right to exist as Omar. Bottom line is her own intellectual capacity and her conclusions which revealed her own hate. Sad.
