Someone named Clara Brooks, assistant professor of Psychology at Wesleyan University claims not only are white people wrong to believe they are under attack, their belief in the attack is a dangerous belief.

Brooks herself is the danger because she is a professor who affects young minds. A professor is dangerous when wrong.

When a person is denied a job or a promotion because a person of another race gets it can be said to have been damaged because of their race, specifically because of the color of their skin. Affirmative action does exactly that whether or not Brooks wants to acknowledge it. No one gets to have it both ways. Either Brooke is correct or wrong. There is no middle ground.

The problem for Brooks is twofold, at least. First she want’s white people to yield to non-whites because of past wrongs. But suppose the alleged wrongs were not the fault of the individuals being penalized or punished? Suppose the NFL operated as Brooks imagines. Why are the players not all white?

Second in the interests of justice the people who were wronged should be compensated not by everyone because obviously everyone includes the victims in addition to the wrongness of white people being blamed for something they did not do.

If someone was purposely benefitted for a wrong not done to them by people who are wrongly blamed and wrongly punished there are three wrongs being done.

In addition suppose the non-whites were not treated wrongly? Can’t blame slavery for non-whites being used as slaves when slavery was stopped in 1862, 157 years ago.

Somehow someone needs to be woke and it looks like it’s Brooks who needs the caffeine.

It’s often difficult to get it right. That doesn’t excuse the wrongthinker. Brooks needs to get woke..
