Does president Trump need more losses to confirm what’s painfully obvious?

Under Bush II and Obama the map of the world changed for the worse as Russia and Putin beat the hell out of America in Ukraine especially by taking the entire territory of the Crimea and no one cared enough to physically oppose it. No one.

The Ukrainian government filed paperwork against Russia in the International Court of Justice, the United Nations’ highest court, to fine Russia for “intervening militarily in Ukraine, financing acts of terrorism, and violating the human rights of millions of Ukraine’s citizens.”

Ukraine is still seeking compensation for deadly Russia inspired incidents including the 2014 shooting down of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 over Ukraine. An international criminal probe concluded last year that the missile that destroyed the Malaysian passenger jet over Ukraine in 2014 and killed all 298 people aboard was fired from rebel-controlled territory by a mobile Russian launcher trucked in from Russia and hastily returned to Russia.

America has taken steps to thwart more aggression by Putin. Obama refused to put missiles in Poland. Trump did that. He sold a $10.5 billion Patriot anti-missile system to Poland. The Eastern European NATO states have been ramping up their military capabilities in the face of Putin and Russia’s aggression.

VILNIUS (Reuters) – Lithuania wants the United States to bring more defence systems such as long-range Patriot and short-range Avenger missiles to the Baltics where some fear Russia is more powerful in the air.

The Kremlin then sent advanced Iskander missiles to its Kaliningrad exclave on the Baltic Sea, within striking distance of large swathes of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia — all members of Nato.

The expulsion of over 100 Russian diplomats by 24 nations, including the U.S. and Poland, was taken in response to the recent nerve-agent attack by Putin/Russia in the U.K.

Under Poland’s largest-ever weapons purchase, American Patriot producer Raytheon Co. will start deliveries of rockets and communication systems in 2022.

Last year Trump held military drills in Siauliai, Lithuania, . . . an encouraging sign. .

Ukraine knows about and accused Russia of financing separatist rebels in the eastern Donetsk and Luhansk regions as well as sending Russian troops there. The Kremlin has denied the accusations although President Vladimir Putin said in October Russia “had to defend Ukraine’s Russian-speaking population.”

President Trump should shake Putin’s hand and throw him to the floor to show the free world what should be done to Putin, a violent aggressor.
