America shouldn’t have to support any immigrants. Refugees are a different matter but immigrants should support themselves.
America is a big, big, vast, relatively unpopulated country of 3.7 million square miles and about 323 million people. A square mile is 640 acres. America has less than eight people per square mile.
Neighborhoods in Tokyo attain densities exceeding 30,000 people per square mile. So the arithmetic shows: 30,000 times 3,7 million square miles equals 111 quadrillion, about 30,000 times as many people as there are in America right now.
In other words the population of the United States could increase 30 thousand times and it only would be as dense as Tokyo.
America has less than one person for every seven acres.
There is far more space for people than there are people in the world just in the United States.
America doesn’t have to support any immigrants. If an immigrant cannot support him or herself they should not be allowed in. They can just leave.
OTOH, the more self-supporting people we have the more prosperous we can become, providing of course that everyone can support themselves. That means the end of welfare.
But welfare will not end so the first rule for more immigration can, should and must be no welfare for immigrants. If that becomes the rule the number of immigrants can be huge.
Isn’t HUGE a President Trump word? Good. A HUGE increase in the number of immigrants which will make America greater than ever. Everyone should want that. .
