Gillespie writes: “The whole point of America is that it doesn’t matter where you come from. It matters what you do when you’re here.”
Wrong.. Both matter. No one should be in favor of people from enemy countries coming into America. Likewise, one needs discretion is deciding exactly who comes into a country and who stays. Japan, for example is very successful keeping out all kinds of trouble-makers.
Why not get the best people to immigrate into America? What’s wrong with quality?
Refugees? People should fix their own country so they would want to stay, not leave.
Why doesn’t the United Nations help other countries fix those dysfunctional coultries instead of simply supporting immigration which is very, very expensive for the receiving country.
It’s positively immoral to simply support the abandonment of a country and culture which is what the immigration firsters want.
How did Gillespie get it so wrong?
