A good friend is spending Thanksgiving in several food lines in Philly because of the foul actions of some of his family. Gratitude? Yes, he’s grateful and hopeful he wins his battle against them in court. Thanks for the courts.
As a family we are gathering, and while not everyone will be there in person, we are together in spirit.
A time to reflect on those from past Thanksgivings who are no longer here in person but certainly they are in our memories.
For America. the beacon of hope for most of the planet.
To Europe from where most of us in America came.
Not to the Middle east where they just don’t get it yet.
To Africa, three times as big as America with so much to offer and yet there are massive problems, top to bottom from Libya to Zimbabwe and South Africa, a favored and favorite place.
South America which is full of people from Spain as well as from Eastern Asia
Australia, another place favored by nature and by the nature of it’s people.
To the people on this blue globe as it spins and travels around the sun, it’s good to be here.
