The consequence of assimilation among various races would be a color blind culture. That hasn’t happened because race is often not invisible. There is some looseness around the edges where good looking people of any race are easily assimilated. America did, after all elect a black man to the highest office but the riots at places like Ferguson and Baltimore didn’t help resolve the assimilation issue. The facts are that it’s difficult for some races to acculturate or assimilate. Perhaps time will remedy that.
