Intelligence is needed 100% of the time. No one is without it but there’s a huge difference between the brilliant and the not so smart.
Being stupid is no disgrace as long as the basic intelligence is used. Despite a long list of humorous slurs against the unintelligent (“not the sharpest tool in the box”; “a few fries short of a Happy Meal”; “dumber than a box of hammers”; and so forth) it’s not really harder for a dumb person than for a smart one because no one can be dumber or smarter than they are.
But dealing with the dumb is hard. they can’t answer questions as well as smarter people. It’s harder to give an order to a dumb waiter or waitress. they make more mistakes. You order steak and get spaghetti. One gal posted a selfie of herself at the Eiffel Tower. She called it The Statue of Liberty.
Another intellectually challenged person heard it’s possible to charge a cell phone in the microwave and showed a photo of the busted phone. Another said they heard China is 12 hours ahead of America so why didn’t they warn us about 9/11?
