A great smile causes people to trust you. Not the phony smile from a used car salesman but a genuine smile that comes naturally to most people.
Some people are so favored by nature that they don’t have to glad-hand people but an average intelligence matched to a winning smile will help immensely in your relations with others.
People naturally want to trust other people but over a lifetime they get cheated, misled and pushed around by circumstance which is another way to say we all meet some clinkers so it’s foolish to trust people without more information than just their smile. Hollywood actors are the best at deceit althouh it’s called acting. When we are exposed to the real person we often realize the nature of the con game that’s been perpetrated on us. Elizabeth Taylor looked fantastic on screen but she was below average in height and so became hard to find at a party where she was below most people. Q.E.D.
