Washington Politics are venomous right now after the most spectacular defeat of the Liberals since the end of the Cold War. the Democrats are in fierce fight mode. There’s no way to accommodate them short of suicide. Noonan is part of the swamp that needs to be drained. She should be part of the solution but her ostrich approach is terribly misleading and perhaps downright dumb. No one can accommodate enemies who hate the president.
It’s the Democrats who need to wake up to the idea that their side lost because their side was wrong about the mood of America. They proposed Hillary instead of a healer. that’s like proposing the Pope reach out to Islam because it’s superior. The pope refuses to think that and Islam won’t tolerate that. That’s the central issue of our time and it’s getting worse as we speak.
Regardless of your view of Islam and the Pope, everyone knows it’s not a matter of the Pope being able to stop terrorism by reaching across the aisle to the terrorists. Noonan needs to get out of DC and go somewhere else to rest her fevered brain and re-hook up to normal.
